Similar to the Social Identity Wheel, the Academic Identity Wheel helps students define their membership to various academic groups. This resource can be useful in grounding conversations about identity, membership, power, and privilege.

Users are encouraged to reflect on the skills or values that their [intersectional] identities have afforded them. This resource works great with students and professionals seeking to brainstorm the skills and values they bring into an educational, research, and/or collaborative space. This resource can also be useful in grounding conversations about personal assets, power, and privilege.
